DC needs national action on gun safety – not local interference

On October 12, a House Subcommittee will hold a hearing about “violent crime” in DC. The people of DC did not ask for this, and this kind of interference in DC’s local government will not make us safer. It also ignores the larger context of our national problem with gun violence.

If Congress actually cares about gun violence in DC, they should pass national gun safety legislation — not interfere in DC's local governance. Send a letter to the subcommittee telling them to take action on gun safety and keep #HandsOffDC.
